Your Creativity: Who Owns What? (...and what you an do about it?)

This special intellectual property seminar is arranged exclusively for the Leaders of Design Council 

In this highly engaging and practical workshop, we will explore the multiple layers of what forms of creativity are being produced each day in your firm, and what the opportunities, risks and remedies there are to protect what is is yours. Using real-life scenarios presented in a ful I-day case study format, we wil I examine content on social media and digital platforms, employee rights and responsibilities, works-for-hire and the role of outside contractors, copyright infringement, trademark protections, and many other subjects vital to your livelihood! 

The workshop will be led by Sherry Jetter, former General Counsel at Ralph Lauren, current partner at CKR Law and Professor at the Cardozo School of Law, Fashion, Arts, Media and Entertainment Law Center, to share her considerable expertise in intellectual property, global licensing, internet governance, domain name law, and data security. Sherry has worked on an extensive variety of brand management questions, including portfolio prosecution and enforcement. She has built the exclusive curriculum for the LDC from her real-life experience with fashion designers, brand owners, and internet companies, and has also conducted interviews with Leaders of Design Council members 
 
This seminar is open only to LDC members and LDC sponsors and one senior staff member, 
such as a Studio Director, ControlIer, Marketing Manager or other.
$1,295.00 workshop fee per participant.
